Los Padres National Forest

Brad and I rode thought the southern part on Los Padres National Forest.

Here's a picture of where we came from.

Here's where we were heading.

Here's some of the sights.

We pulled over to check out a small stream.

Brad decided to hike down to the water.

When we got to Santa Paula we came across this building which was the original corporate office for Union oil. There was a small museum and tour of the upstairs offices that we got enjoy.

Wouldn't one of these old pumps look great in your garage?

This guy giving the tour really knew his stuff. I guess he worked his whole life in the oil business.

It was a great day for a ride. There's a lot more roads to ride in that area and I look forward to riding them.

Brad, when do you want to go back? :)

Looks like fun Dave, even if you had to bring BD along.

Very clean looking Nomad. That Ultra is equally good looking machine, too. Better yet is the kind of weather you guys have down there.

We're gonna ride some day.....

That is some beautiful country; I spent over 20 years working on the Los Padres NF. Looks like you road a good portion of Hwy 33 out in what we called the bad lands (maricopa/ozena area) all the way through Ojai and out to Santa Paula to Hwy 126. Your pictures brought back a lot of memories. I road enduros back in the 80's/early 90's through a good part of the back country which some of your pictures looked right into...what great place to live & ride! Thank for sharing those pictures...
