Trail of Tears

Anyone planning on making the Trail of Tears run this fall? I haven't made one yet as there are a lot of bikes involved. And last year the two guys that started it sort of split and made two runs of different routes. I had planned on going until they did that. I still may make the original one this fall. Starting in Chattanooga, TN and going down through Alabama and ending over around Florence, AL. The last stop might be Waterloo, AL.

Trail of Tears

I have rode it the last 3 years and will this year I'm sure, but I do not ride in the large group I leave out with 2-15 bikes (depending on work schedules) two hours in front of the large group its awsome to see all those riders ride in, I like getting there in front of the crowd this way you can get to the vendors and food with just small lines even getting there early I have seen growds as large as 500-1,000 bikes so riding with 100,000-150,000 is not for me. the bike line last year went on for 27 miles!!!
ride safe.

David I get to Waterloo the day before and then get out of there before the crowd gets there then I ride from there to OK. there is only about 3 or 4 hundred bikes on that part.

Traveler, where do you live? I am at Boaz. We must be fairly close.
