Sounds like a great ride and beer too. Where will you be starting from and what route do you have in mind. I'm thinking about 120 if (Tioga pass ) is open I might cut thuogh the park and get US 395 down.

The Death Valley Run thread was first originated by me on the Hooligan web site. It was Judicat's idea for a run to Death Valley.

I subsequently cross-posted it here as I use both of these sites to announce rides I'm involved in planning.

I've been informed my cross-posting to both groups could cause animosity amongst some members. I want nothing to do with that. Therefore, I've deleted this posting.

Thanks

Valdez,
You are certainly welcome to cross-post anything here. Whoever informed you of that was not speaking for KawaNOW. Feel free to post anything you like for your Death Valley run or any other trip you have planned that others need and would like to know about.

Trip

Thanks for commenting Trip. I don't know about feelings on the other site mentioned, but in this forum we encourage any posts that inform other members about planned rides, invitations to join rides, or reports on completed rides. And we don't care where else they are cross-posted.

I appreciate participation, and encourage questions about trips or getting ready for trips. We have everything from new owners, to seasoned distance riders. Valdez is certainly in the category of seasoned distance rider.

My wife tells me I'm bitter. Does that mean I'm unseasoned?

Trip, glad you cleared the air on this "cross-posting" matter.. I enjoy reading a number of boards but sometimes feel reluctant to come out of the closet.. so to speak !

Valdez, I'm planning to be part of the DV trip and discussed it with Judicat a few weeks back when we met on a ride. DV is on my "bucket list", so it's a MUST !

.. I just have to check with my boss (wife !) and make sure the dates work out with other commitments.. ::)

Hope to accomodation book soon...

Brian

It's all good, b2......I have no problem with anyone planning a trip from this board. It's all about riding and comaraderie.

It is unfortunate Valdez. I was excited to try to get away to DV and to see you guys again!

With moderators on other sites taking shots at some KawaNOW members, expressing that they not rather show up and party with them, I will step aside this trip so as not to cause problems with your friends. Take lots of pictures for us!

As for KawaNOW members...... I can't wait for CUSTER!!!!

Really? That's disappointing. If I could get away, I was seriously considering trying to hook up for this ride. It never occurred to me that I might be unwelcome because I'm a KawaNOW member.
But, I have been known to piss people off and be completely unaware. ???

I, too, can't wait for Custer!

Unfortunate, isn't it? But, it happens and I'm sure there's a lot of anamosity over there. None here tho. If you want to plan a ride, I say go for it and don't worry about who knows.

I'm sure I'm one of the three that they don't want to party with.

Valdez has the right to post anything he wants here on KawaNOW. It's too bad that others are giving him grief.
