I'm a daddy!!!

Hi everyone! I am proud to announce that I am the daddy of our daughter, Madison May! She was born on March 7 and weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 19 inches long.
We came home from the hospital today, and everyone is doing great. I fell in love the moment I saw her. She is our first child, so let the fun begin! Here is her picture:

Any advice is welcome!

Congrats! I remember so well the day my daughter was born. She is now almost 4, but seems like yesterday.

Cherish every minute and remember that even when it seems like some difficult stages (lack of sleep, teething, etc, etc, etc) will never end, they grow out of them so quick. it may seem like it takes forever, but the end comes fast than you can imagine.

All the best to you and your new, expanded, family!!

Congratulations Daddy !!! My son was that young yesterday. Today he is as big as I am and in college. Cherish every moment, they grow up way too fast. She is very cute. Welcome to being a parent.

Congratualtions PC. My daughter was born 27 years ago and it doesn't seem like yesterday. We have had some great moments since she came around and still are. As you said, the fun begins now.

My wife "ahhhed" and said what we all are thinking, "Madison is cute."
In regards to advice, remember how fragile she looks here. Her spirit is just as fragile and needs to have your undying love. Also, remember that although she is your daughter, her mom is your wife and Madison will be watching how you treat her and will expect the same type of treatment from all the guys in her life. One day Madison will break your heart and move out, but hopefully you and your wife will still be together...don't forget to take your wife out on a date.

Congrats PC! Nothing like a Daddy/Daughter relationship. Keep her healthy, safe, active and create wonderful childhood memories for her. Her well being should drive all your decisions.

You might want to post in the garage to find out how to mount her car seat on the Nad!

Congratulations on the beautiful addition to your family. She's a cute one!!
I'm going to echo the older members who have given you the advice to cherish her and each and every moment you have with her. I have 3 daughters and although there are many happy moments with all of them, the time seems to have flown by. They're all married and I see them almost every day still, but I miss the days when they were little girls.

Oh and one more piece of advice. Read the directions BEFORE you start to put that doll house together some Christmas Eve down the road. You'll be glad you did.
