Just purchased a 2006 1600 Black Nomad. Traded up from a 1996 yellow Vulcan 1500L. Received my bike via EBay couple of weeks ago from cali. Had it shipped with allied (good recommendation). It was the longest 2 weeks of my life from purchase to driveway. I was so excited to get and was very nervous because site-unseen and when my baby rolled out of the truck I knew right then why it was worth waiting for. Purchased with only 1200 miles and extended warranty till july 2012. The guy selling it had no idea he had purchased the warranty but spent many many hours researching my purchase to what I wanted and found it for $7799 plus 532 to ship (worth the shipping across the states because of condition). I am so excited to get started decorating the bike with all the shiny chrome I can find. One reason that I traded bike is because of accessories!! My other bike was only made 2 years and couldnt find anything to do to it and got bored with it. Don't think I will have a problem with the nad. I have spent many many nights and hours looking through the site and have not found one thing that wasnt from the heart. You guys have a great site here. Advice from other Nomad owners is priceless example storing bike in winter keep tank full of gas to prevent rusting....who would have thought...I have alot of common sence but still would keep gas low due to varnish. so everyone is teaching each other. Anyways have started the bike off with some Kuryakyn Dually Highway Pegs, Grasshopper driver backrest, and cobra luggage rack and it is all from members posts on how it fit to how they like to how they look!! Getting married in may so figured I had to go out and by my new bike cause the priority's (money wise) on the bike will soon be put elsewhere. So keep up the good work and RIDE ON!!! And like my Uncle Randy would say I have a KAWAwoodie
