Grown Man Wants To Cry

I am beside myself and can't believe what I did tonight. Somebody please toss an arm around me and tell me I'm not the only idiot who has been so unfortunate.

I ordered a set of deep dish amber bezel's for the front signal housings to match the rear that came with the Kuryakyn Run-Turn-Brake kit. Anyways....I replaced the first one no prob. The second OEM lens for whatever reason was tough to get out and I kept working it around until it came loose. When it finally did I heard the tiniest of cracks.

Didn't give it too much thought until I went to push the new one back in. Thats when that little crack became a nice little chip in the top of the signal housing.... :'( :'( :'(....!!!

A small but very noticeable piece of the plastic chrome housing about 1/2" long and 1/8" wide fell right into my hand..... :(" title="" border="0"/> :(" title="" border="0"/> :-[ :'(. All I could do was finish the lens install then super glue the piece back in place, but we all know how that looks..... :( :( :(.

Most people may not notice it, but since I did it and DO know it....it might as well be the wart on the nose of the Wicked Witch of the West!

I ordered my driving lights tonight and they will sit directly above the signal housings. I can't get them on fast enough and hope they kind of camouflage my stupidness. I would have to change the whole housing to fix this one...and I don't want to go there....yet anyways (but probably will).

What a sinking feeling.......ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGG.... :'( Be careful with those things fellas....front AND back... :-/
