bluetooth setup
Hey ya'll... I searched this but couldn't find for sure what I need.. I have a Samsung galaxy S7 phone and a 2011 Vaquero bike. (so no auxiliary plug on my radio) So for Bluetooth music, I know I need a Bluetooth transmitter with the the auxiliary plug on it but I must need something else? I must plug the transmitter into something? I have an auxiliary chord already in my left side compartment so I can hook my phone to it, but i'd really like Bluetooth...
Thank you!!

What I did with mine is get a Bluetooth receiver that transmits on an adjustable FM radio frequency and tune the radio to that frequency similar to this type of a setup as an example https://www.amazon.ca/Bluetooth-Tran...nsmitter&psc=1
mostly I use a small .mp3 player and plug it into the plug under the left side cover. I got rid of the proprietary Kawi plug and put a 1/8" plug on the cable and plug that directly into my player. You could do the same with the phone as long as it has an earphone jack. The phone setup works but it's easier just to leave the player on the bike, for me anyway :-)................Mike

Does the Vaquero have the 3 prong connection for Aux Input like the Voyager in the left storage pod?
If it does I just ordered this instead of paying 3x the cost of the Kawasaki piece https://m.ebay.com/itm/09-18-Kawasak...-/292103405882 And this: TaoTronics Bluetooth 4.1 Transmitter and Receiver, 2-in-1 Wireless 3.5mm Adapter (aptX Low Latency, 2 Devices Simultaneously, For TV/Home Sound System) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EHSX28M..._Yj7tBbJG3MJMD Works perfectly to send my phone music to my stereo

I plugged a bluetooth receiver into the auxillary jack in the left side glove box. Synced it to my phone and stream music to it.
I got the receiver on Amazon pretty cheap. I believe the brand is unify it is about an inch square and half an inch thick. Fits in the glove box fine.

All you need is one of those usb bluetooth receiver / transmitter dongles in your left side compartment. plug the aux cord into the dongle, and wire in a usb charger to the accessory circuit to keep it powered.
Those bluetooth receiver dongles are cheap as chips on Amazon & Ebay these days.

Add Bovee 1000 to a Kwasaki Ipod conector. This will help you best.

My bike came with the IPod connector so I bought a cool stream Bluetooth receiver. For $80 I can stream my music, GPS ect off my phone and I can use the handle bar controls still.
