Love the Clearview Shield!!!
I got in this evening and had my Clearview waiting for me. I ordered the small and could not be happier! I was in love with the stubby shield look on my Vaquero but the wind tunnel effect finally convinced me to try out another option. I am taller than average at 6'4" with a long torso and sit really high on the bike; the small shield with recurve directs easily 95% of the wind well over my head and I am most definitely "in the pocket". I have a ride-in appointment for June with Mean City Cycles to have my seat re-worked and the new position they will have me in will eliminate the remaining 5% I suspect (judged this by slouching and leaning a bit to mimic a lower and more aft position in the saddle).
Anyway, as a taller rider I couldn't find much info on a shield for us that wasn't huge, in my opinion the small recurve shield from Clearview is the ticket and looks great; I'll post some before/after pics when I get back in this weekend for reference. As an added bonus I can now hear the stock stereo at half volume at highway speeds whereas before it was completely drowned out at 55-60mph. In short ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have the clearview shield with recurve (9") on my fairing............. and I couldn't be happier, it even gets the air over the wife's head too.

I almost pulled a trigger on a Clearview shield today until I found out that they wanted to charge me $75 to ship. WTF? 7JuRock only charges $35.

I've had 2 of each. The jurock is my choice now since Clearview raised their pricing.

That's crazy! I only paid a little over $100 delivered but the Vaqureo shield is a lot smaller than the Nomads...
Just checked and the delivered prices are within a couple dollars of each other depending on size between the two companies for the Vaqureo/Voyager. The Clearview also has a recurve and an OE looking bottom blacked out portion vs the band on the 7JuRock.
