Did the Plate Laydown

I did the plate laydown over a month ago, took longer to take the pictures. I also put on the Kury Deep Dish Bezels on front and back and added some chrome trim (from Autozone) to give it a nice trick look.

Uh oh. Now you did it. Once you start with the mods there's no end to it
Looks good, I like the trim on the fenders.

Thank you Sir! Yes, it looks like the mod bug has followed me from my Volusia days and is now "infecting" the Kawi.

Another ex Volusia/C50 owner? Man, we got a lot of them on this forum. I had a 2003 silver/white. Good bike but I needed more stretch out room and horsepower.

I was OK with the ergonomics of the Vol, but I just could not get over the weak motor. With 1600cc's beneath me - I'm a happy camper now.

Bill, I remember Thunderhoof from the VR forum. He was a mod-iac (like the rest of us). His bike looked awesome too. Now his Nomad looks great. Can't wait to see what else he does soon. I miss my C50 every now and then when i'm putting around town, but not on the interstate.

I was very active on the VR site but haven't been there in a long time.
Heres a picture of my '03 Volusia. Rode it for 3 years prior to buying the 1600. I did a lot of work on this bike but needed something with more ooommph. That Nomad in the back ground belonged to Cactus Jack before he got his Harley. We were out for a ride in the mountains east of Phoenix.

Yeah, thats why we're not in the picture. We were down the side of the hill there digging out gold nuggets the size of your fist.

I was thinking of dropping the plate below the turn signals but have not worked up the courage to drill the mounting holes into the fender. The plate in the link you have looks cool but with the tags covererd you'd get pulled over and cited in a minute out here.
