Irate Beware of ScootWorks!

IF you decide to do business with ScootWorks, be advised:

IF YOU RETURN SOMETHING TO THEM WITH AN RMA, THEY ARE V-E-R-Y SLOW TO REFUND YOUR MONEY.

I returned a purchase to them 2 months ago, and STILL haven't received my refund. I get the same BS excuse about the refund is "in process", (whatever the hell THAT means) every time I call them.

If I EVER buy anything from these jackasses again, I'll ONLY use PayPal. That way, I can force them to refund my money in a 30 day time frame.

It's to the point now that I'm going to have an attorney give them a call with an ultimatum.

As for me, I'LL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH SCOOTWOKS AGAIN.

They have been having issues for a few years now. I had no problems dealing with them 4-5 years ago, but their service has gone downhill since then.

Same thing I said two years ago. Never again. FYI I had to resort to calling everyday before I finally got my money back.

It took me 4 months to get the chain to belt conversion kit for my Drifter.
I was really pissed at the time because it was summer riding time.
Also they took my money the day after I ordered.
Apparently I am over it as I just ordered a set of Phat II risers from them yesterday
Don't need them till April so I should be OK there.
Will let you guys know how long it takes to gt them.

Not the first time someone on here has complained about them. They are on my black list.

Been hearing the same stories about them for years. It seems they really don't care. I would like to do business with them, but I never hear anything good about them.

Guess I got them on a good day, ordered riser extenders for my '11 earlier this year they were quick to deliver and quality was good as well.

Will probably think twice after hearing all the problems everyone is having. Nothing worse than a business that won't stand behind their product and or service.

Good luck, hope they take care of this soon for ya...

Credit cards have very good buyer's protection too. If that is how you paid, you may try going through their process before paying an attorney.

Received email from Scootworks.
Chrome risers for my bike out of stock but have polished.
I said OK, switch my order to polished and reimburse my paypal account the correct amount.
They said "Will do Tim and Thanks for your business"
We will see what happens as far how long it takes to get order and how fast they put the difference back in my paypal account.
