I want to change out the front turn signals to a running light/blinker combo, but the lens has to be either clear or smoke. I took the lens off and discovered that it isn't just a lens, it is an assembly. I'm not sure if the lens is glued on or just snapped on to the rest of the assembly. I didn't want to risk breaking it to find out!
Any of you tackled this yet?

The Vaquero is different than the Nomad. You can see from this parts breakout, the lens is actually an assembly. This doesn't show the lens itself as a separate item.

Thanks for that! I've got a real heat gun, that should make it pretty easy to take apart then.

A guy here in town used a red tail light spray paint, and painted over the stock amber plastic. It seems to have worked well.

Be careful when ordering, the Vaquero lenses are different from the Voyager, the Vaquero is a smaller lens. just don't want you wasting time and money if it wont fit. We all do that enough trying to outfit these bikes.

Hopefully, I'll attempt to install the Custom Dynamics lights and lenses this weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out!

Sorry for bringing up an old forum. But I was curious if you got this to work.
