Female Power Port ?
For some time I've been frustrated about not having a power port on my bike, to power GPS, etc. I've managed to get by by finding outlets in Starbucks, McDonald and camp sites, but now I've had enough.
I was thinking that I'd get one, take my tank off, wire it in properly... then a revelation! Searching on eBay I found a 12v power port that runs off a battery tender type connection, which I have dangling under my seat! My question is... has anyone used one of these? Sounds like a good $10 solution with no removal of gas tank and other pain-in-the-ass installation required... just plug in and use as required, remove when not needed. http://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tender...5362233&sr=8-1 ![]() Login or Register to Remove Ads |
