Coaster Plates

I installed Chuckster's dual plate intake system on Friday. Been raining ever since so I have not been able to ride. Maybe ride to work Thurs. & Friday if the weather cooperates. :)

My question is; what benefits would I get from installing chuckster's coaster plates?

And can they be installed without pulling the gas tank?

Thanks,
Bob
