My Snowblower Died Today

I was blowing out the driveway earlier today when my machine quit on me. After checking it out I noticed that the choke butterfly was just laying in the carb throat. I suspected that the screw had come loose that holds the butterfly onto the shaft.
I took the motor apart and found part of the screw jammed into the cylinder head. After removing the piston you could see a good dent and gouge in it where another peice had got sucked in.
Either way the motor is dead. Probably not worth fixing. I'll probably make due with the shovel the rest of the winter now, and pick up another machine for next winter.
