Rear Dunlop Tire Price at the Sturgis Rally
Stopped by 3 Forks (Between Hill City and Deadwood) the other day where they had a huge Dunlop Semi. They had a tent set up changing a rear tire on a fatboy which was on a table lift. I asked the gentleman how much he needed for a rear tire on my nomad. He called to a lady who looked up the price and said she could have it installed within the hour for $246...That includes tax, balancing and mounting she said...Wow, what a deal...I honestly believe I could get both tires for that amount on the internet...Also stopped by the Vance and Hines truck which was parked in Sioux Falls a few weeks ago and they said they could put some dual baggers on my nomad for a little over $800...and that's installed he said...(I picked them up @ Dennis Kirk for $438) I am actually amazed these vendors are getting those prices for these items...Some people must be desperate, rich, or both...Anyway, just an observation...The hotel sign down the road which advertised rooms for $39.99 and up all summer, suddenly went up to $99.99 this week...I guess the Sturgis Rally has begun...Jody
