Waterproofing

I am usually a fair weather rider but when you plan overnight rides sometimes you can't avoid the rain.

My jacket, pants, and helmet are waterproof but I am lookin for a way to waterproof my leather boots without buying new boots. My engine guard chaps help but I don't always have them on the bike.

I hear beeswax is a good way to go but I thought I would ask your input.

I am hoping there are some great outdoorsman here with great solutions.

Thanks in advance.
