Clutch slipping

Hi all,
As I have told you before I am not a mechanic so pardon my ignorance.

I was riding on the highway today when a problem came up with my 02. I was cruising at about 70 started going up along not too steep hill, when I noticed the Nomad could not maintain speed. When I twisted the throttle it just rev'd. As the ride continued I realized that the same would happen whenever I exceeded 3500 rpm. I am thinking the clutch is slipping. Does that sound right to you guys?

If more info is needed let me know
