Does not sound the same?
Yesterday I felt up for a ride on my Nomad (ribs felt better :) )
As I was riding I noticed that the normal nice rumble of the "de-baffled" stock pipes was not the same. Thinking it was a "warm up" thing I waited for a bit and really paid strong attention to the sound but honestly it never changed. Now most might think that I am "just used to the sound" but since I did the de-baffle a few months ago the sound was always the same even after going to synthetic oil less than a month ago. To date the only things I have done is: De-baffle, Syn Oil Change. Now not long ago (about a week or so) I removed the Hand Guards since it is warmer weather but I do not think this is a refraction issue. I was riding without my helmet on the same roads and the weather has been in the high 50's and mid 60's. I might try running some Sea Foam through the system but does anyone feel this is something I need to keep an eye on? Hehe Sounds like an excuse for a new set of Cobras... :)
