Killed in MC crash today: Updated article

One of Terrebone Parish's finest was killed this morning while escorting a Mardi Gras float. He had ridden for many years and was very well trained. Seems like a freak accident involving a breakdown in communications. This happened about 7 miles South of my home on the same highway. The article is two pages. The second page can be accessed at the bottom of the first. Prayers and condolences for his wife and 5 kids. The top link is todays Houma Courier article with multiple pages. It explains in more detail how the accident occurred. It also tells of the agony the poor girl who struck him is going through.
