This morning, I spent hours going through and evaluating all of the pictures that are in the KawaNOW members library. In rating the pics, I used several criteria including quality of picture, type of setting, movement and expression.

After looking at hundreds of pics, I culled it down to 70. Then I culled 70 down to 25. Then I picked what I felt were the best 5 pictures for the staff to consider.

Below are the five finalists pictures listed in numeric order with their membership number listed at the top left. The KawaNOW Staff will now evaluate all five of the pics and vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner. The two remaining pics will become Honorable Mention.

I want to thank all of you who turned in your pictures over the last three weeks. It was really tough trying to decide on the top five pictures. All of them were great!

As soon as the staff votes and makes their decision, I'll announce it here on the forum and post the pictures on the main page of the KawaNOW website. Stay tuned...
