Hi Gang!!!

I am so sorry I have been away from the board for a while. We just did 2 big bike trips almost back to back!!! Then our "little boy" (100 pound black lab) got that nasty lyme disease and I have been taking care of him.

Let me apologize for us NOT making it to Finger Lakes this year!!!! It was on our agenda and trip map in the Zumo! However, heading to Maine my bike battery died. We did manage to find a new battery, but I was SO nervous after that. Then, our budget got cut tighter than expected at Lanconia for a few days of Bike Week. After spending time in NJ and time in CT with friends, the ride to Maine and then New Hampshire, we were EXHAUSTED! We learned a lesson though....next year we plan NOTHING else during the Finger Lakes event!

We recently returned from a trip south. We went to Pigeon Forge, TN with some friends and had a BLAST! We made it over to ride the Tail of the Dragon.....

The first ride on the Dragon I was cautious in the turns....a little nervous from everything I have heard. However, by the time we rode it back over to TN again, Chaz and I were LOVING the turns! We were having a contest on scraping our floorboards. I used to hear him complain that he couldn't scrape them on the Nomad, but that's a MYTH! In one turn, I heard his floorboard scrape through the ENTIRE TURN!!!!!! LOL

So, let me summarize our recent trips.....
First, heading north, we did 9 days through 9 states for a total of 1,900 miles
Then, heading south, we did 6 days through 4 states for a total of 1,200 miles

I do have a picture show of the Tennessee trip! I'm still working on the bigger trip to Maine....
