Hi fellow Nomad riders. I have a 2008 Nomad. This is my 3rd kawi. I still have the 900LT (now the Wifes ride) and I traded my 06 V2k for the Nomad.

I loved the V2k but no dealer could get rid of the belt squeal and I could not stand listening to it. Mother kawi would not get involved. They say it was a belt tension issue. Traded it with 7k on the click. I do miss it at times.

I'm waiting to see if people are having issues with the new belt drive Nomad. Nice looking machine. The V2k pushrod and stroked motor with smaller pistons (say 1800cc) would have been a godsend but lets see what happens. If it gets great forum reviews I may indulge in 2010.

Hopefully the Nomad (and it's builders) will treat me better. If not it will be my last Kawi.

I would be interested in any Vulcan rides in SE CT, RI, SE MA areas.
