Kawasaki newbie in Central Florida

Greetings everybody,been riding since 1953 and I've owned a few bikes but just bought my first Kawasaki, a red/pearl 1700 Nomad. Love the bike and I've just done a lot of customizing to it. Installed a cup holder and a RAM GPS mount! ::) Next is a chrome license plate bracket to make her truly unique!!! Who needs OCC!
Last bike I bought was a Goldwing and I got my riding buddy of 35 years or so to ride it and he bought one too. Now he is riding a different Japanese bike (can you say Suzuki?) and I let him ride this one and he is starting to get the itch. He has asked me to never let him ride my bikes again.
Got a lot to learn about these bikes and I appreciate the opportunity to do that here.
