The all new kawasaki vulcan jouney
THE BIKE IS DONE AND BACK ON THE ROAD AND TO ME WHAT A BIKE IT IS. I THINK IT HAS EVERY OPTION I COULD COME UP WITH AND THEN SOME. I LOVE IT AND THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS. The graphics or lettering is all hand done and airbrushed onto bike not a decal. I am sorry the sound clip of the Freedom Tru Duals is not really what they sound like I do not think any camera will pick up the true sound. Compared to Cobra's way better sound if you ask me much deep and well I prepared to pay a ticket or two I guess much louder when you crank on it. Beautiful if you ask me. I loving everything I did to the bike. Hey it is only money I guess. That's a beautiful bike, awesome rebuild. The best part of owning a bike is riding it. The second best part is making it your own. Now go out and ride the hell out of it!

Good Job
Excellent - You should be very happy.
For some reason - I was intrigued by the Painted fillers between the bags and the bike. I liked the Lining in the bags - Now, how could I accomplish that on my Voyager? I'm assuming the line toward the back of you tank is some kind of plastic scratch protection or something like that? How does it ride - I ask that because on any repaired car/bike while it may look great were the mechanical things that allow it to ride vibration free straight down the road repaired? Best of all I liked your comment - "Now I'm gonna go ride, because that's what I do!" If it would warm up and stop raining I would like to adopt that as my mantra. |

There was no damage to the forks or the frame in the accident. It rides perfectly just as before I notice no difference. You can buy the lining it is more of a felt lining not a carpet and easy to mold as it stretches and you can work with it. See your local fabric store or Upholstery Shop I would say. They use this material in car trunks sometimes. Just use a spray glue and glue it onto surface. That is right the line is 3M protection on the tank and on front fender and under the seat I have some as the seat caused some paint loss rubbing.

Very nice Dave. I don't think the pictures show the color as well. I bet it just sparkles in the sun. Love those bags, they look huge, plus being lined.
You put a lot of time and money getting it back on the road. I hope you enjoy it, and be safe.

Great looking bike.
You said you don't think there is an accessory it doesn't have. I can think of visors on the driving lights and oversized mirrors. You did a great job now keep this one upright

can fit no visors
with the type of lights I have in the driving lights visors will not fit as the lens sticks out of the ring
