Victory parts suck

So far I have bought a Windshield that Victory said would fit but it didn't.
Now I have $849 saddlebags and $176 attachment spools that Victory said would fit but of course they will not unless I buy a $180 passenger footrest support bracket
Screw them, I will sell what I have and look someplace other than Victory for parts.

Instead of selling them, take them back and get a refund........ then you'll have the cash to get aftermarket (and probably better) parts with some cash left over.

I can take the spools back but I bought the bags on Ebay and the seller said no returns in his auction.

Tim, perhaps you can get rid of the brackets that don't work, or keep them and have a fabricator start from scratch or make what is missing to mount the bags you bought, can't be that tough.

But they cost 5 times as much as they should because Harley is stamped on them.

Oh details, details. Don't get lost in the details... just bust-out the wallet.

Or buy a bike that has the stuff installed at the factory.

Once she saw the Boardwalk and sat on it there was not another choice as far as she was concerned.

It's easy (and relatively inexpensive) to lower an X bike (XR/XC/XCT). Glad she likes the looks of the BW (even though she's changed the bars, added hard bags and a windshield). About the only thing her BW has that the XR doesn't (from the factory) are the spoked wheels.

Come on Chris, the BW and the XR look nothing alike.
The bar change didn't change the looks and made it so she could reach them.
After seeing the hardbags on the bike we are not going to use them as they changed the looks to much.
Who the hell wants to ride without a windshield
Bottom line, it is her bike and her money, if she wants to put a windshield, bags, ape hangers, a tourpack and paint it florescent orange it is OK with me as long as it makes her happy.
She is very very happy with the way the bike looks and even happier with the way the bike handles
But Victory parts suck.
