Radiator repair?
Took radiator off to find and repair leak. Primed and ready to paint the bottom. Did not put it far enough onto work bench and you guessed it, it fell onto the concrete floor bending both the inlet and outlet pipes, inlet worse. Here’s a picture, any ideas how to fix? Help, I really need to ride.

Try making a drift from a piece of tapered broom handle and gently knock it into the damaged outlet.
A very slow taper might do the job.

over time rad fluid turns to acid = leaks,
therefore the recommendation is to change out rad fluid every 2 years before it turns to acid

https://advrider.com/f/threads/how-t...inlet.1243531/ Also, I use short pieces of pvc pipe drops, sand a good bevel on the end, and I use these to walk around the inlets. (Also have 18" cutoff piece of cheap, wooden, walmart baseball bat, on the taper that I use. Where it tapers fron the handle area to the larger dia.) I have about 8-9 of these (pvc pieces) in one of my toolbox drawers specifically for this repair....on the kawas/yamas/suzs/VRods.... Go slow, take your time....all will be well. Hope this helps....

Been real busy working, ordered coolant hoses since they have never been replaced and am just taking a closer look at the damage. The inlet and outlet port openings are bent but I noted that the base of both pipes are also dented where they enter the radiator. I am going to take the fan off and the sensors out and take to the radiator shop and see if I have any leaks and then go from there. Anything I should know when removing these sensors besides go slow and don’t crank on them? Guessing they have washers/o rings that will prob need to be replaced. Thx for the help.
