CB Radio?
Just got this bike, love it. I ordered a 13 inch windshield, hope that is high enough.
Anyone put the factory CB Radio on, the CB antenna looks big and out of place.

I could never get my mine pass the cost of the oem CB, plus the oem CB antenna mounts on the trunk and the antenna looks out of place with the radio antenna. Most of the riders I ride with have helmet bluetooth commuication. With the bluetooth and you can receive phone calls and listen to your favorite tunes and GPS instructions.

I really wanted a CB set-up, but didn't want to do the factory one either. Didn't like having a wired connection and didn't like the costs.
I ended up getting a Motorola MU354R. It has bluetooth and connects to my Sena headset as a second phone. I also got a Motorola 1693 bluetooth push-to-talk button so it can be controlled from the grip. The ME354R is small and it mounts in my phone holder. The talk button mounts on my left hand mirror extension so you can reach it with your thumb. The issue.... I've never had a chance to use the darn thing. I had it on the bike for a week straight and 3 other times for 100+ mile rides (but not with a group). I never had a chance to connect with another biker. I just wonder if a CB is worth it anymore...

I have the Sena helmet bluetooth, it's great for the phone. But the group I ride with have CB, so I have no choice but to get a CB. Actually the factory
cb is the same price as the Honda, Harley and I imagine all other makes, they are integrated and that is hard to beat. The antenna is what bothers me the most, I would like to have matching antennas.

Have you thought of using a J&M hidden antenna.

Thank you very much, didn't know they had that. That would really suit me.
