You don't sound very convincing.

I think your price is a little high. I paid $6300 for my 07 2-1/2 yrs ago with 9000 miles.

May be they make an iPod adapter that goes in the cassette slot.

I was looking at Cliff's RSV at the rally in Orofino. I find it very odd that Star still installs a cassette player, which is obsolete technology and includes an aux input, which is decades newer technology. My bike has a cd player and an aux input, but I wish it had a USB port in place of the cd. I use the aux input for my XM radio and do use the cd, but would rather be able to use a USB drive with 32GB of music. I am fairly certain Harley ditched the cd player for the 2014 models and now offers a USB port instead.

Yah me too, heck in 1999 when that bike came out cassettes were already out dated or dang close. I think they never changed it because it was too easy for them just not to. lol As far as I know they never did a thing. It's a wonder they got away with keeping things as long as they did with this bike. EPA Carbs vs Fuel Injected |

CDs have been commonplace for at least 30 years, I haven't even seen a cassette sine the 1980's. I just think it's funny that any company presumes that people wouldn't want more up-to~date technology. Star makes some really nice bikes, I think they just aren't too in tune with the market.

I installed the Kenwood KMR-D558BT in my fairing just before we took a trip to Riudoso. One reason I bought that unit was the features. Mainly the bluetooth capability and the USB port. Man, you are right to want one, it is the bomb. Hours of music of my own choosing on one little drive. And using the USB gets you the full range from 20 to 20K Hz. Of course, some of the bass is lost at speed, but the music is still audible and recognizable. I am powering 4 5.25 Polk db521 speakers without benefit of an amp. but this combo provides all the clear, clean sound I can use.

Might be a little off with your years Cactus.
My 1999 Grand Marquis has cassette only. 2000 4Runner has a dual player Cd and Cassette
