Starter
I own a 2012 voyager. So I am having an intermittent staring issue. I work on cars for a living so I know how big of a pain in the ass intermittent issues can be. I have a good battery. Every so often I go to start the bike and it either takes a sec to start like literally 1-2 seconds before starter will kick. And other times it gives a really wired sound before the starter kicks that I am not real sure how to describe. I am wondering does anyone know of any switch issues out there or even starter issues. I have about 27k on the bike if that helps at. The bike is garage kept and cleaned regularly. Any and all advise is welcome.

I had similar issues with my Nomad, which I tracked down to a loose wire at the starter relay, along with a dirty contact at the starter button. You should follow and check all the connections from the battery (including the earth side) for tightness, and clean them up with emery paper & dielectric grease.
I realised afterwards that the weird sound I was hearing sometimes was arcing across the contacts in the starter relay. That just leaves a soot residue and will eventually melt it.

It sounds like you may have a loose or dirty connection, do what Peg suggested and you should fix the problem.

+1, me too....check your engine ground where it bolts to cases. I also run a 2nd ground wire from frame to front motormount bolt with a short piece of 8Ga. stranded automotive wire with hd terminals on the ends....
These bikes pull enough juice while cranking to use a couple of extra grounds.... Sometimes, the bike actually runs better with the added ground (s) ....
