I Second "Be wary of scion0"
Not to disrespect a long time member of this forum or anyone else but I also found it disrespectful when this guy did not even answer my messages and email about the availability of the Mustang seat. I quite understand if someone beat me to it (even though I sent my email at 8:00 AM the day after he announced he had one on sale so I question how this happened). But so be it maybe he found someone he knows he rather sell it to. That's fine. Again, this might be an unpopular post because this is a long time member but it seems the least someone can expect when he answers an ad is the courtesy of a response. And to close the prior thread down just seems wrong if we all respect free speech. Just my 2 cents.

As was said in the other thread, you didn't lose any money so let it go. If I'm selling something and decide to pull the ad, that's my decision. As long as money hasn't been exchanged, it's all good.

He should at least have given the courtesy of responding whatever the case may be on whether it sold or not to everyone that responded.

Never got the message. If it is not a PM, I may not find the message, let alone, answer it.

Geez.... Get over it... you didn't send any money and were not ripped-off. The guy said he didn't handle it well and apologized. But the fact remains NO ONE was ripped-off. So, again... you guys need to get over it and worry about more important issues...

If Greg will permit me.... Maybe you could worry what someone in Croatia has painted on his saddlebag. Maybe you could worry about the hazards of riding a motorcycle with a car tire on the rear? Maybe you could worry about motorcycles with loud pipes. Should I keep going?

Ok I bought the Mustang Seat he was great to deal with we pm'd back and forward for a day and I payed he shipped and it arrived as good as promised. If I do not like it the both of you who wanted it can get in a bidding war with me to buy it but I am putting it on my bike and hope it cures my sore tailbone.

Wow, what is it?
Wow, ErilFlynn! I don't see any PMs from you? And if you sent them any other way, I have not seen them.
Remember, I bought a new HD and it has been the coolest here in the area in a long time. I have been riding the bike often. I just got online tonight. Also, there are many many people of this forum. I know I won't sell anything else here. TOO MUCH DRAMA for me. I will stick to the local stuff. Thanks again Greg and those who saw this for what it was, and nothing more. ErilFlynn, it reminds me of a scene in an old movie called Song of the South, where Brer Rabbit said hello to someone and they did not answer and he went all kinds of unglued rather than just walking on. Anyway, everyone have a good one.

Mike: I don't want to get in a pissing contest. Even though I've only been on this forum for awhile I can see it has many good guys and that people are always willing to help others. I think one of the problems here is that i saw your comment that you had a Mustang for sale in someone else's thread (when you said you had one for sale in the classified section). The person who started the thread "uncomfortable seat" didn't jump at your suggestion for your seat so I assumed it was still available. Once in the classified section, I couldn't even find the thread but found it in ANOTHER thread. I then sent you an email from work at around 8:00 in the morning. I couldn't try and send a PM because I couldn't log on from work without my password. I had my wife from home send the message YOU"VE GOT MAIL and hoped that would give you a notification like in Delphi Forums. Then I waited for a response one way or the other which never came. That was the source of my aggravation. So I think the main problem here is that there was no specific thread for your seat where everyone could see what the status was and where everyone was in line. Regardless, I've moved on and will stay with my sheepskin until another auction comes along. Bob
