The Long Leaf Thread

I figured every garage should have a smoke area and this seems as good a place as any to discuss puros and other long leaf blends. Now we'll find out who is a BOTL (brother of the leaf) on the board and who is going to wander along and slide down the slippery slope

I just received another fresh batch of tasty Cubans, I'll try to keep my hands off them for a while so they can get some age on them. That may be tough to do. I thgink the Cubans are learning a bit about capitalism, they prices have sure jumped up a bit from my last purchase.

It's not that far.. don't forget, Brad has a Nomad! (Oh wait, you're right, it's Brad, so that would be about ten times his normal annual mileage.)

All you need is some fine scotch whiskey. I'll try the churhill's, thank you.

I do have some good scotch and brandy, but most times I'll have a whiskey and coke.
I hope those churchills are as good as they say.

Thats not bad Brad, I have about 90k on mine so far. I probably put 40k on while puffing on a cigar.

I did the same thing when I was about 15 or 16, a few us us got a hold of a bottle of something, and some old port cigars. I got drunk and ended up chewing the cigar and swallowing it. Talk about a bad stomach ache. It turned me off drinking and smoking for a long time.

Thats probably the best choice John, It slowed me down for a while, but since I started smoking cigars about 14-15 years ago I really seem to enjoy it most times. Especially on a nice evening in the backyard after a good bbq.
Good quality cigars are also a big part of fiding it enjoyable, you cant beat a good Cuban cigar! Ive also smoked my share of dog rockets as well.

I'm glad you guys got this thread up and running again! I like a nice cigar every now and then. My wife had a nice surprise for my bachelor party and bought me a nice assortment of different types. I shared most of them with my buddies, but kept a few of them. Then she got me a humidor for them, but I need to get it set up. Man, I gotta get that thing set up and find me some cigars! I know I'm a little late on this, but I'd like to keep this thing going.
