Daymaker running lights
Anyone try the running lights in this set? Just wondering if they'll fit, and what type of mounting stuff I'll need.
Thanks!

That looks sweet. My head light is modulated, don’t think I can use that on an LED head light

You have to do major dremel surgery on the Aux lights. My buddy did a video on exactly how to do it on Facebook. Custom Vaquero Nation group.

It is more economical and easier to only do the headlight. I have purchased a LED Daymaker/JW Speaker knock off headlight from Superbright LED which has more light output than either according to technical specs. I modified a new OEM bracket to accept the headlight mounting and need to have both spot welded together to mount.
I will say retro fitting headlight or aux lights with LED or HID bulbs is not way to go and will make light beam pattern focus worse and blind people. Yes it's "bright" but not effective. |

Interesting. Mentioned getting the lights to the wife. Didn't get the "what's wrong with the one on there" question. Also didn't get "fine" as an answer.
In married terms, that all but here's the cash to do it.

For me, it means having to buy a set of lights to cut up, and those aren't cheap. Headlight is in, and it's great. Looks like I'll be exploring the option of putting them just behind the vents. In the spring when it's warmer and not dark so soon.

For those that do not want to do the facebook sign up I have recorded Greg Millsape's Video for the aux light mod. But the file is 140MB so I can not up load it here. I have asked for the Moderators to get involved to see if we can get it posted.
