Concerning Keys
Ever since I bought my bike (2008 Model), I have just used a single key in the ignition. As most of you know from a previous thread, I now have a Tour Pack installed that came with a little round key for the lock.
I put the trunk key and ignition key on a little key ring and went for a ride last week. OMG...the tinny rattle from the additional key bouncing around on top of the ignition/speedo plate drove me nuts! I quickly took the trunk key off but it got me to thinking. Has anyone come up with a good solution to this problem? I mean it's silly to have to carry separate keys around, especially on a long ride. It's not a problem for those whose ignition is on the side of their bike, but for those whose are right on top of the tank, this is a real issue. Some of you must have several keys on your key rings...do you have this same problem or has sombody came up with a good solution?
