Leaking Again :/
Well a few months back I posted I had a Radiator leak.
I ended up patching it with JB Weld and it did a good job of holding.... Until this past weekend. I see evidence of a small leak forming again. So here we go again. I suppose I am going to have to break down and get another radiator. Last night I found one for sale online. The description was this: "VN1500 Nomad Classic Drifter Radiator" It had pics and I studied them and for the most part it looks exactly like the radiator on the 1600. Looking at an online Fiche I see the 1500 part number is 39060-1165 Where as the 1600 is 39060-0019. Does anyone know if the 1500 will work on the 1600 before I go out and waste time?

Can't help you with your question but I had the same luck with JB Welding a radiator crack. Worked for awhile but started leaking again.

Can't answer your question exactly, but I Know all the 1600's have the same radiator (Nomad, Classic, and Meanstreak, and also the Suzuki 1600 Marauder). As far as radiator covers, the 1500 won't fit on the 1600 and vice-versa.

..I'd bet that the engineers at Kawasaki made the 1600 radiator a bit larger than the 1500 one ! ? ..... Thats just A Guess ! (a radiator shop should be able to save you some $$ and make it as good as a new one)
