Tire Guage: what do you use?
I have this Accutire digital pressure guage.
![]() Tried to use it on the Nomad today and I can't get it to go straight enough into the valve stem to get a reading. Bummer. Of all the things that are great about the Nomad, ease of checking tire pressure sure isn't one of them!! Are there any other guages that y'all use that you like and that work?

Tire Guage: what do you use?
I think all Nomads have the 90 degree valve stems. To make checking pressure a little easier, when I did my first tire change, I turned them to the right (up side) of the bike. I use a standard digital tire gauge, and it works really well.

Tire Guage: what do you use?
I had my valve stems turned when I had the tires changed also. I use my Progressive air pump to check the pressure. The pump I use for my air shocks.

Tire Guage: what do you use?
I have 3 tire guages (two are in cars)......none of which read the same. After reading some reviews, I purchased a roadgear guage, in fact two of them, one for Christmas present. Now I have 4 that read different but the two roadgear gauges read exactly the same.

Tire Guage: what do you use?
Me, I just use the cheap ones. Check them against my digital to see how they work.

Tire Guage: what do you use?
I have gotten a wide range of readings with many gauges, so be wary. I use a wally world truck gauge with angle head so I can check it pushing or pulling it toward you. Seems to be fairly consistent too.

Tire Guage: what do you use?
I use one given to me by a friend that works for the State of California Bureau of Automotive Repair in the Regulations Department, but I don't trust it

Tire Guage: what do you use?
That was a real bugaboo for me for a time. Lowered bike, even with 90* stem on the back made the fit a little tight. The front tire is just straight stem. I found the perfect solution at Wal-mut.
It's a Campbell/Hausfeld small digital. It's very sturdy, nice rubberized grip with about a 65* turn on the head. Fits right in where it needs to go and I checked the accuracy against a known quantity. Great, and reads in 10ths. Oh, and for the old guys (not me, of course ::)) the read-out is large, bright, and easy to see even without the glasses. And, it has a tread depth checker and is black and chrome with it's own little carrying case and takes up almost no room. The price I don't remember (see old guy above ![]()

i hav a little blue cambell/hausfeld digital guage i picked up at wally world. will fits easily around to check tire pressure and will also check my shock pressure. even use it on my atv and that only takes a few pounds of pressure per tire. its about the size of a bic cig lighter
