Recommended Sunglasses Bifocal
I just wanted to recommend these off the rack Bifocal sunglasses from REI. When my $200 prescription pair of Rayban sunglasses (progressive bifocal, which I hated) got ripped off, I searched and found these 2.0 Bifocals. I love them! $65

I was at Sportsmen's Warehouse a while back and was looking at their sunglasses. I found a pair with the bifocal diopter. I didn't want to spend $80 on them, though. I went home and searched the internet and found some on Amazon.com for $25/pair. I bought 2 pair of them. They aren't really high quality frames, but they work as I'd hoped. I wear contacts to see beyond about 6' from my face, but as I'm getting older I find I can't see up close very well anymore. I can read my text messages now without having to dig out my cheaters.

I'm too cheap to buy good sunglasses. I get $8 ones at the gas station :)

I only saw them in 2.0 diopter. They're extremely well made. I use these for everything and they seal real well while riding the Nomad.

I use Solar Shield Fit Over sunglasses over my regular prescription glasses.
![]() Got mine at Walmart, but Walgreens and other places have them too. Around $18-20. Several sizes and shapes. Gray and brown lenses.

Another suggestion: There are some safety glasses out now that have dioplers and come in several different tints and styles. The ones we have at work run @ $13 and can be picked up over the counter at the safety supply stores.
