Just put her to bed,sadly

Well, I guess thats it for the riding season. Just put my bike away for the winter hibernation. Expecting snow/sleet/rain for the next 4 of the 5 days. I was holding out hope for a couple more decent riding days but it doesn't look forthcoming. Plus the holidays coming, not a lot of free time anyway. Anyway happy holidays to all... Steve

Hope the hibernation doesn't last very long. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Both are restless out inthe garage. I can hear them plotting even as I sit here typing. They don't like hibernation and they like snow and ice even less. It will be good when the melt comes. Very good.

Snow on the ground, single digit temps, more snow on the way Thursday night and Friday. I will start the Nomad once a week and let 'er rumble while I ponder the snow covered hills. Spring is good.

Our current snow and ice situation is unusual for this neck of the woods. It does suck, but when the melt comes I hope to get back out ASAP!

In the meantime I can get a couple things done...I am expecting a Kuyakyn Triple Whammy run-turn-brake kit to arrive today....I can get that installed....and I can do a practice run on packing all my umpire gear for that long ride south later next summer....

mine is hibernating somewhat ??? But I hear it calling me to let it out for some fresh air. My new glove are coming tomorrow and if roads are dry I'll have to try them out.

I just rode my bike in to work this morning and the temp is 70 degrees. The high will be 80 degrees today here in south Louisiana. It makes me sad that most of you are held captive by mother nature for such long periods during the winter. I'll keep you guys in mind when I ride this winter and pray that you all have short winters and good chances to ride. Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.......Dwain

It's been cold (for Phoenix) and rainy here all week, so no riding for me. It's clearing up today and should stay that way. We were getting the effects of the storm that dumped snow in Las Vegas. Hopefully I will be able to ride to work tomorrow. Temps should be back in the 60's-70's by Christmas.

I shudder to think what would happen if it snowed here. I probably wouldn't leave my house. People here can't handle rain on the roads, snow would be suicidal.

Leaving Mexico early Saturday morning and headed back to El Paso and my bike. Hope to get some riding in over the Christmas holidays. During the day, its around 65 to 70 up there, but at night it gets cold.

Probably be the last bit of riding I'll get in until Spring, unless business picks up, might get more riding time than expected.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. God Bless and be Safe!

I've not rode for about 3 weeks now, but tomorrow rain is supposed to move out, temps in 40's, I might ride a bit.
