Welcome to My World!!!!!!

Mercy me TC! That reminds me of when I lived in Michigan near Sault Ste Marie and then in Utica New York while I was in the Air Force. I knew there was a good reason I've lived in Georgia for the last 38 years!

Come on down, you're next on the Price is Right!

Welcome to My World!!!!!!

dabull, I'm 18 miles north west of Rome,NY.

Bosko, it is from lake effect snow. The conditions get just right and the wind comes off Lake Ontario in an easterly direction and we get hammered. I live right on the edge of what they call the Tug Hill Plateau.
We get all the regular snow the rest of the state gets and lake effect also.
I was in Rome today and they got maybe 4" total for the year so far.

Rich, don't wish that 17' of snow on me. We are off to a good start.

Welcome to My World!!!!!!

Still in the 70's here fellas. I don't have to scrape sunshine off my window or shovel it off the driveway.

That's a lot of snow!! We used to get lake effect snow from storms coming across the Great Salt Lake and the 9000 foot mountains on the East side of Salt Lake would trap the storm and it would just dump on us. I don't miss it one bit.

Welcome to My World!!!!!!

22" :'( we might get an inch of lake effect snow we call it a nuisance. just enough to cause accidents and for the state to put down more salt :(" title="" border="0"/>

I think there is someone on here that lives in Jamestown n.y. They get so much snow that you have to jump to spit

Was 38 on the back porch at 430 this morning when I rode to work. Engine guard chaps and big lowers did their job.

It's been in the 30 - 45 range after dark and upper 50's during the day. Quite nice for afternoon riding. Sorry you guys have to hang it up for the winter.
