Titallating Tuesday Trist

For those of you buried in the wonderful white powdery substance sent from God, I provide thes facts from todays ride with three friends.

We met at the local CVS, in the parking lot, out in the open where 6 convergings lanes of traffic can see all of our chrome. I was the first to arrive so I was able to observe those observing my fine steed.

<insert loud noise here> as two of my friends make the turn revving their Harley and VTX <insert after market pipes here>. We sat for a few while the Harley rider had a smoke - he does this alot...we then jumped on and started our cruise towards the Great White North...towards, not TO.

We picked up another Harley rider a few miles up the road. <insert another set of loud aftermarket pipes here>. Temp was 47'ish and all were clad in chaps and other riding gear <except for me--cuz I'm tuff (ok, i just don't have the gear but don't tell anyone)> Off we go with quite a rumble.

We rode for about an hour to the Huddle House where we could eat and tell lies, compare chrome, share websites, and most importantly - Laugh.

We once again mounted our steel and rumble off again - its amazing how many people stop and watch...I bet they are wishing they were riding:) Temp now 61, We drove through the countryside, long sweeping turns, horses and cows...even saw a Long Horn. Saw a multitude of Christmas lights - I bet the show at night is crazy over there...After several bursts of speed and twistys we found ourselves back at our starting point saying our goodbyes and wishing each other a Merry Christmas.

It was a good day:)

Mele Kaliki Maka:)

Aloha

Derry,

You sure know how to p*ss people off!

I love the NW but this time of year I can see why people live down south.....shhhhh don't tell Cactus Jack I said that, he always rubs it in when we discuss warm weather.

But of course I am waiting for August when he melts his boots to the ground...then I will remind him how cool it is up here.

Wish I was down there riding with you....oh well I need the workout shoveling the snow.

Derry,
Here is a link to some inexpensive leather gear. It's worth the expense to get some chaps....no doubt about it and they have them here for relative peanuts... ;).

Sounds like a great ride....and yeah....I'm jealous...but knowing schoeney is shoveling his driveway somehow makes it bearable.....
