THE DAY

Those of you unwashed masses in the fur northern hinter regions of our country may not be aware, but Today is the DAY.

The one day that all Alabama kids of grow up looking forward to.

For those of you who do not know all Alabama residents native born or carpetbagger, must chose sides. Its either the Blue and orange of Auburn or the GLORIOUS CRIMSON of The UNIVERSITY.

Businesses will stop, all radios and tvs will be tuned in, roars can be heard at each score.

After years of the world being turned upside down, all will be right at the end of the day. The Great SABIN will vanquish the haughty tigers and put them in their place.

ROLL TIDE ROLL

your humble bama fan

Johnny

My USC Trojans would beat any of them....but they are on the outside looking in...won't get a chance to beat up on anyone other than the lowly Nittany Lions.

It could be worse....I could be a Washington or Washington State fan!

Just remember Alabama fans, the Florida Gators are no push over. Now My Mizzou Tigers really blew it this past weekend against Kansas.

I have had to resort to wearing a bag over my head on Saturdays... :-[ My beloved Washington Huskies are about as bad a team as I have ever seen. How they have fallen so far so quickly is beyond me...mostly the fault of former AD Barbara Hedges.

I grew up during the Don "The Dawgfather" James era...and watching the likes of Steve Emptman, Mark Brunell, Chris Chandler, etc.....beat the living crap out of everyone they played. Rose Bowls, Orange Bowls...every other Bowl...even a National Championship.

One of my favorite Husky recollections was after a 31-0 stomping of USC at home during their National Championship run after the defense thoroughly dominated the game. After the game USC QB Todd Marinovich was asked what happened. His response? "I don't know...all I saw was PURPLE"! Is that beautiful or what... ? Damn that seems like a long time ago...hhhmm....I guess it was.

We all long for those days to return....and I believe they will. Washington is too proud a school to let this continue. Head Coach Tyrone Willingham has been a joke and my hope is for a Don James disciple to come back, kick some ass and turn things around...

Go Dawgs!

Rev, what did happen with our Tigers??? They were looking so good for a while.

The Horns got robbed by that crooked BCS and those pansy sooners somehow get to play for the Big 12 championship. It should be the Horns and 'Bama in a barn burner!
