What our esteemed, quick witted and silver tongued colleges are trying to say is "No" you only need to install a power commander with aftermarket pipes if you also open up the intake.

Don't need a fuel processor unless you open up the air intake.

naugaman: what your saying is against the rules. When you change pipes AND hypercharger or any air sucking kit, you ARE supposed to need the fuel processor. Your the only one on here that says your bike doesnt need it. I'm curious why yours doesnt. Can you give me more details since this is unusal. Can our infamous CME explain why this bike would run fine and all other would not???????? Thanks

Possibly his throttle position sensor is set higher than normal so he gets more fuel?

Mine pinged bad even when stock and worse with pipes and intake mods without TFI upgrade.

Yeah my bike pinged too when it got hot when it was stock. But now it never does and runs great with all the mods.

naugaman you might want to check your sparkplug to see if you get a super white reading. it could be way to lean. it will run really good even if it is lean. i leaned mine way out once by mistake ran really good till i got a hole in the piston. just a thought.

If you want this question truly answered, it would be best to send a PM instead of posting the question here. With so many questions coming his way, BD/DB isn't looking through threads as often as he used to.

I like seeing everyones response to questions and answers. If you email the CME then we, the forum, don't benefit from the experience.
