Best way to remove Kawi Badge?
Looking for the best way to remove the Kawasaki name badge on the right hand cover. It being plastic and color matched I don't feel right about putting heat on it to loosen the bond. Gonna keep all the others but I figure that would be a good place to put something custom made. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Best way to remove Kawi Badge?
I hear an air hammer witha chisel tip works well.
![]() Try heating the emblem with a blow dryer or heat gun to soften the adhesive, then try peeling up one edge with a fingernail or edge of a credit card. Goof Off or some other adhesive remover will clean up any residue. Some have had luck using a length of dental floss, starting at one end and slowly working it under the full length until the badge comes free.

Best way to remove Kawi Badge?
When I removed mine, I took the covers off and laid them in the sun on one of those hot Georgia summer days ;). After about an hour, I used a plastic card (credit card, drivers license, or similar) and got it started, and slowly pulled it off. I then got a piece of good sticky tape and repeatedly stuck it to the glue and pulled it off quickly to remove the glue that was left. Worked pretty good.

Best way to remove Kawi Badge?
Here are instructions from Gadget's page for removing the tank badge. Should be similar for the side cover. You would just want to be a little less generous with the heat.

+1 with doc. slide a fingernail from the top and peel. A little goo gone or WD and it will pull off like it's greased. Took mine off the day I drove it home! It's easy novijoe

Got it off but man that glue took a bit of effort. Looks good now, I'll keep all the other badges on the bike, they look good even though they don't say Nomad like the 1500's. Thanks everyone for the replies.
