New windsheild

Ordered and received a Clearview replacement shield. Stock height. Nice product. Thicker shield than the OEM.

This is for the used 03 Nomad I picked up in August. I noticed at the time that the chrome behind the shield and headlight was in poor shape. Rusty and pitted looking. Windshield Hardware was poor in places too. Previous owner only washed/polished the easy to get to places.

Anyway, I broke out some Blue Magic Metal Polish and went to work.

I wish I'd have taken some before and after shots, it was that dramatic of a cleanup of the rust and pitted chrome. A true night and day difference. It surpassed my wildest expectations of getting it nice, shiny and polished. Took a little elbow grease but it is now nice and shiny. Rust and pits are gone.

I highly recommend this stuff.

Getting that cleaned up and replacing the old hazy ruined shield, the bike looks 100% better. The old girl cleans up nice.
