new bike
i am getting ready to trade my blk/slvr 2005 nomad with 33,000 miles on it for a 2008 red/blk (new) my old bike had v/h baggers and power commander. luggage rack kuryakin grips and brand new metzler tires front and rear. plus new brakes front and rear. the bike is in excellent shape. what would be a fair price to ask for it...? anyone

I paid $6300.00 for my '01 with 13,500 miles on it. It was stock except for a brake away cruise. You will have to adjust for more miles, but 4 years newer.
Hope this helps, Bill |

Hi, Here in Canada it would be worth around $9000/$9500.
It sounds like it is just the way most people would want one, so my question is, why sell it ? |

i never keep a bike longer than 3 years, plus i like the red/blk. and the red is faster than the blk/slvr.

Nada says 7300 for the low and 9400 for the high. I would think a $8995 price would be a fair price with the extras you have. I typically don't like to squeeze every nickel out of selling a used car or bike....just want to get it done!

Yeah, you may have to knock it down a little for the slower colors...it is the RED, not the black, that makes it fast!
Something that may help is to check what '05 Nomad's are doing on E-bay. Are you going to sell it yourself or trade it in? |
