Another Biker taken out by a negligent cager

From the Houston Chronicle. . .

"Harris motorcyclist dies after crashing into windshield
Driver of vehicle that authorities say hit him is undergoing a blood-alcohol test

A motorcyclist died late Saturday after a crash with another vehicle left him partially lodged in the vehicle's windshield in north Harris County, authorities said.

The motorcyclist was traveling in the 5800 block of East FM 1960 around 11:23 p.m. when driver of a vehicle failed to yield the right of way when she pulled out of a driveway, authorities said.

Sheriff's deputies found the motorcyclist stuck in the windshield of the driver's vehicle, authorities said.

The motorcyclist was sent by Life Flight to an area hospital, where he later died. His identity is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle were also taken to an area hospital, where they were reported to be in fair condition. The driver provided a blood sample so authorities can test her blood-alcohol level.

No further information was immediately available and the case is still under investigation."

Our prayers out for the family of that rider.

and whether or not alcohol was involved the driver's license should be taken for a period of time. All too often you hear about things like this that aren't necessarily criminal but very neglegent. There should be a stupidity punishment. Like when the four-wheeler and sport bike guys are riding wheelies down main street. Take it out on some side road. Stupidity causes death.
