My most recent bobber build:
I'm a powder coater, bike builder/mechanic/flipper by trade. Wanted to build a bike that showed everything I offer, from the mods to the capability of modern powder coat products. This is a '94 VLX I bought for $600 with 4k miles on her. She'd sat for 12 years but was otherwise mint. I don't have a before pic, but here's an identical bike:
![]() I bobbed her, obviously, and shaved the fork legs, mounted a Coker 4.00-19, reshaped the seat pan with angle iron, made steel neck covers I could bake, bought Blue Collar Bobbers steel side covers, and mated a TJBC rear fender to a TC Bros sissy bar. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
