Vaquero backrest extension
Thunder MFG used to make a 4" extension for the Kawi backrest. Unfortunately, they closed up shop a few years back. I have a Corbin seat, and the bottom of the backrest actually sits about an inch below the top of the Corbin seat. Rather goofy. Four to six inches higher would make a lot of sense. Anyone know of another company that picked up the slack and started making some? Or have a set you no longer need?
And if not, let's make a count of how many would be interested. If we have enough interest, we may be able to entice someone with proper metalworking equipment to produce a batch for us!

My Corbin backrest is unusable, tilts back ( even adjusted) to far. Just measured the OD of the solid steel and it is 7/16" Maybe you can get one tapped/ threaded at the length you need. Mine is 6 1/4" long. Know anyone with a drill press and tap set??
Just a thought, and a lot of messing around though.
