Rox Speed Risers on Voyager?
Just curious to know if anyone has installed the Rox Speed 2” risers on a Voyager 1700?

I too would like to know about these risers or something equally as good. Do not wish to change out cables.

I am familiar with Chucksters and Skootworks but each have their own challenges with either service or fitment hitting the fairing. I was thinking that the Rox may prevent fairing impact. I have used them on another bike and they work very well. I have seen them used here on a Nomad.

I have Rox risers on my bike (a Versys not a Voyager) and they are quite versatile. Much more adjustment than a standard set of fixed risers (which I used on my Vulcan). Rox makes them from 1" up to 3 1/2" from what I have found.

Well I ordered a set in the Aluminum finish. They do not make the 1 1/4 in Chrome, Black is an option. Will do a write up when installed.

I put the Chucksters risers on my Vaquero. Nice quality, made a big different in riding comfort. Did not have to change the cables. The bars hit the fairing at full lock which I solved by sticking a wheel weight to where the steering column hits the stops on both sides.

Did you use a worm clamp to affix the hose? If I do not take a liking to the Rox Risers I will be trying the Chucksters. How much of a loss in range do you lose by limiting the full lock? Thanks

I've limited the range of my lock (for Chuckster's risers) by drilling each side of the stopper and using a drop of Loctite on self-tapping flat head screws each side. I don't notice that it's made much of a difference in the turning circle at all.

Ok, I will not say that it was easy or smoothe but it is complete. I am not sure about the aesthetics but function is perfect. The Rox risers have a great deal of adjustment but the fairing and the chrome tank cover limits its travel. After trial and error I was able to find full lock adjustment without hitting the tank chrome cover or the fairing. This provides approximately 2” of up and back over the stock setup. For my 32” sleeve it now allows me to sit back into the pocket of the seat and straight up and down while gripping the bars comfortably. Previously I had to lean forward or sit more toward the front of the seat. FOR ME the bars are perfect now. I understand there are other options that are cheaper and may look better but this option gave me full lock and a good pull backwards which was my goal.
The stock caps have to be used on the bottom because the stock bolts will not fit through the Rox caps. The stock threads in the factory riser are larger than the Rox bolts also. You can source an additional set of caps and the final appearance would be a little nicer if you are particular, but I did not test fitment on this to see if it is possible. To me it looks like the stock caps are too large for the bolt holes to line up but I cannot say for sure. In addition the larger size of the stock caps will most likely hit the fuel tank chrome cover sooner. I have two Ram Mounts for my phone and GPS so its not an issue for me. I just need to pick up some of the bolt caps to cover the Rox Cap bolts securing the bars into the riser. The install required the BRAKE LINE only to be routed from the front side of the top tree plate to the rear. This can be done without breaking the line loose. The housing WILL FIT between the fork tube and the neck of the frame. There is enough slack in all the other lines and wiring. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
