Power Plug Add-on

Someone mentioned a power plug add-on that attached to the handle bars (great for GPS, etc).

I did a search but couldn't find the thread. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Thank you

Like a lighter socket?

Note the green volt meter. It is plugged into a lighter socket and can run a compressor, a lighter, and or charge a cell phone.

Is this what you're looking for? EMGO 12v outlet

I installed one of these on mine, and it is great!

CatusJack,

I think that this may be the right one (or close enough).

I saw Gadgets, but I wanted one on/near the handlebars.

Thanks everyone!

FYI.....
Kuryakyn and Formotion Products both have handlebar mountable power pods. I have the Formotion, pricey but I got it at a tremendous deal. Also has 2-prong outlet on back for heated clothing, gloves, etc.
Pictures are in one of my old threads on "power pod"

Oh here we go again, the over-priced Formotion power pod...

Just joking, dkdixie. That was something you'd mentioned in the past that I said was overly expensive. I'm sure they are nice, I have no need for heated clothing, so a simple 12v socket was sufficient for me.

Oh yes....power pods.....it pays to do a little "free" R&D for manufactures every now and then.
Agree it is pricey, but they can't keep them in stock. Actually been on backorder for months and finally shipping again.

Mike.....check the pods out at www.formotionproducts.com

Gotta remember Jack.....Harley riders think absolutely nothing about spending HD initials......"hundred dollars".......for bling!
Its almost a way of life. I know....use to be one!

And may be again....trying to deal on an 02 Road King with 7000 miles and well over 30 grand invested.....but we're a long ways apart right now.

All kidding aside though, the Formotion pod is a quality piece.

I'm down to 3 days left on steroids....one pill twice a day from 4 pills twice a day. So, yes....getting better but it will be weeks before this stuff is out of my system.

They should use steroids in interrogations on suspects and military prisoners

I have the Formotion power pod. It is expensive $89.00. It is a good looking piece of crome and is waterproof. A cigarette lighter is attached and there is a SAE2 plug on the bottom allowing you to use 2 sources for power. I attached a cigarette lighter to the SAE2 plug and run my GPS off that. I hid the lighter socket in the area behind the crome plate under the handlebars. Mine is mounted on my handlebars, but, you can mount it anywhere. Only one wire to hook to battery, Metal on bike supplies the ground. They work and look great.
