Battery tender
Already have the charger for my C90, going to put the pigtail on the Vaquero. Any pics from people that have done this? Trying to find a place where it's not obtrusive, but not a pita to get to either.

Put a 12V poweroutlet into the right cover just above the passenger foot rest, directly wird to the battery with a 10 amp fuse.
Works perfect. Cu, Sven

I extended the wire for the pig tail and ran it into the left hand compartment under the speaker. The hole in the backside is big enough. I open the door and just plug it in. I didn't want to put holes in a clean looking side cover. A little more work to run the wire under the tank, but I had it off for another reason. ![]() ![]()

I'll be taking the pcv off soon. Probably do the wiring then. Think that is what may have caused my ecu failure.

Trying to avoid cutting any body parts. Putting it in the left door sounds like a good way to go. Especially since I'll see the wire hanging down.
Seems I may have forgot once or twice to unplug it on the C90.

I just ran the pigtail thru the cutout at the top of the left cover. I tuck it under the seat when not in use. Stays there very well. I have a 2nd pigtail that stuff under the seat for summer, but do the same as the 1st one for winter heated gear. Easy access to both and hardly visible when tucked under the seat.
I am thinking of making a bracket like is used for the OEM helmet connections and adding sockets for the SAE connectors like these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tecmate-SAE-...-/231779802528 |

I just used the connector that came with the battery tender, connected to the battery and ran it down under the side cover. I tie rapped the wire in place and tuck it under side cover when not in use.
